Slade Paddock Caravan And Campsite (Cambridgeshire) is looking for friendly, reliable seasonal wardens to join our team. We are a small 30-pitch family-run site situated on a working farm. Our quirky bar on-site hosts regular live music nights throughout the high season, and food is available from our van – The Jolly Trotter. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, being outdoors, and wants a great lifestyle base for the season. It could also suit a semi-retired individual who wishes to stay involved. We accept well-behaved dogs that can be left on their own without barking at everyone walking by.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting guests and serving as a helpful point of contact
- Assisting with arrivals and pre-planning plot allocations; directing campers to pitches and explaining site information
- Performing daily site walk-rounds and reporting issues early
- Keeping the site presentable
- Providing friendly rule reminders (quiet hours, general site conduct)
- Escalating serious matters to management
- Cleaning the ladies’ and gents’ toilet/shower wetrooms to a high standard each morning
- Conducting a later check/spruce-up each day (top-ups, quick tidy, maintaining high standards)
- Cleaning two toilet blocks at the bar; vacuuming and tidying The Humble Pig
- Providing extra hours at an hourly rate and additional work such as bar work and catering assistance in the food van if desired
