Located on the outskirts of Alnwick, Northumberland, our 4 Star Caravan Park is a well-established, well-reviewed 60 pitch touring site for MH/ Caravans, including Seasonal, Touring and Static Caravans. An amazing part-time opportunity has arisen for the 2026 season starting early March for an enthusiastic, flexible couple who can think on their feet to work alongside one other warden couple and the park owners to help run our very popular Caravan Park.
This is a joint part-time position (2 people) with both separate and shared duties that requires both parties to work and live on site. These roles are NMW, PAYE employed positions.
Role 1 (Welcoming & Grounds Duties)- Welcoming guests, escorting them to their pitch ensuring they are always met with a smile and positivity.
- Grounds maintenance, including grass cutting (ride on experience preferred), gardening, refuse management, painting, basic DIY etc.
- General maintenance, ensuring the park is always in tip-top order, safe and cared for.
- High standards of Customer Service must be maintained on all occasions.
- A very competent level of computer knowledge to process bookings. Experience using Excel and GemaPark management booking systems is preferred.
- Ability to multi-task dealing promptly with payments, enquiries, both face-to-face by telephone and email.
- Managing the stock and sales of the convenience shop including alcoholic beverages.
- High standards of Customer Service must be maintained on all occasions of contact with excellent grammar, literacy and numeracy skills.
- It is very important that you are a Team Player with the ability to work with others in every situation, share ideas and support your fellow wardens.
- Cleaning facilities including shower and toilet block to an outstanding level of cleanliness.
- The days will be a set rota working only 2 days over 7, allowing you five days to relax and explore the beautiful Northumberland countryside.
- The working hours will be approximately 18-21hrs a week per Warden and will include handling any out of hours emergency phone calls and processing the occasional late arrival when on call duty.
- The full working pattern will be discussed at interview although all applicants must be able to perform all duties at peak times, which can be quite demanding.
- You would be required to have your own caravan/motorhome. You will be allocated a free pitch, including electric, water and WiFi for the duration of the season and required to work most Bank Holidays.
- Previous proven experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Full Drivers license required.
