UKC Group (ukc.group) of companies offer Electronics Supply Chain and Engineering solutions to an international clientele of government organisations, commercial engineering and manufacturing businesses. This is a predominantly reactive sales role, focused on inbound and exhibition leads, but you will also be expected to supplement this activity by sourcing your own leads through research, follow‑up activity, and outbound contact. The role is created specifically to maximise the return from a recent exhibition.

Key Responsibilities
- Promptly follow up exhibition and inbound sales leads by phone and email, presenting our products or services convincingly to prospective clients and demonstrating their value and benefits.
- Qualify enquiries and gather customer technical and commercial requirements.
- Progress opportunities through the sales pipeline.
- Prepare customised proposals and follow up quotations.
- Arrange meetings or handovers to senior sales or account managers.
- Proactively identify and contact new potential customers to generate additional leads.
- Use online research, internal data and existing networks to build a personal pipeline.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date internal records.
- Liaise with internal teams across UKC Group subsidiary businesses.
- Deliver a professional, responsive customer experience.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in sales, inside sales, lead follow‑up, business development or customer service, preferably but not necessarily within the relevant industry sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with a confident telephone manner and strong written communication skills.
- Comfortable working with both warm leads and self‑generated opportunities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
