Overview
We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Technical Assessor to support certification assessments under the ISO/IEC 17065 Total Metering and Billing Systems (TMBS) Certification Scheme. This role involves evaluating compliance with the Oftel Total Metering and Billing Direction (July 2003) and related guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out assessments of organisations seeking certification under the TMBS scheme.
- Review and evaluate metering and billing systems for compliance with the Oftel Direction and Ofcom guidance.
- Provide clear, objective reports on findings and recommendations.
- Engage with certification and accreditation bodies as needed.
- Keep up to date with changes in relevant regulations and standards.
Essential Skills and Knowledge
- Strong technical understanding of telecommunication metering and billing systems.
- Ability to question and assess how the TMBS scheme is applied in practice.
- Familiarity with:
- The Oftel Total Metering and Billing Direction (July 2003).
