As a Sales Engineer/Solutions Consultant for Trade in Europe, you will drive strategic client engagements and support the sales cycle by showcasing our lending and trade finance solutions.
Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Support the Working Capital Go‑to‑Market Strategy
- Deliver best‑in‑class customer engagements by applying deep expertise in trade finance and supply chain finance
- Help position Finastra as a trusted partner by articulating market trends, solution value, and technology adoption opportunities
- Contribute to solution innovation by working with Product Management, Marketing, Technology, and Delivery teams to influence and validate the product roadmap, and bring client feedback and market insights to shape future enhancements
- Drive customer adoption and success by engaging directly with customers to support platform adoption, ensuring an exceptional experience across their working‑capital journey, and identifying opportunities to increase value realization and support long‑term retention
Qualifications
- Deep expertise in Trade Finance gained within a bank, fintech, consulting firm, or solution provider, with strong knowledge of end‑to‑end processes and working capital products
- Exceptional client‑facing and engagement skills, including experience with RFP responses, delivering impactful presentations, and contributing to sales strategy development
- Solid understanding of emerging technologies—such as Cloud, AI, and tokenization—and their relevance to trade and working‑capital transformation
- Strong product expertise in trade finance and a solid understanding of market trends
- Experience working within a Financial Institution or Fintech, ideally with exposure to one or more of Finastra’s core corporate banking solutions
