Stock and Operations Lead

We are looking for a proactive, self‑motivated Stock & Operations Lead to join our growing team and play a key role in driving operational efficiency across our nationwide clinics. Using data, systems, and operational insight, you will help influence decision‑making, optimise processes, and ensure our day‑to‑day operations run smoothly.

You will oversee inventory operations, maintain accurate stock records, and continuously improve stock control processes while working closely with the Clinical Logistics Manager and Logistics Coordinator.

As the Stock & Operations Lead, you will take overall responsibility for stock control across the organisation, ensuring high levels of inventory accuracy and developing efficient, scalable processes that support the continued growth of the business. You'll be comfortable adapting to change, maintaining strong operational standards, and identifying opportunities to improve the way we work.

This is a hands‑on role that combines operational planning with physical stock handling. You will regularly receive, organise, move, and distribute stock, which includes lifting and carrying boxes and other inventory items as part of the day‑to‑day operation.

Location

In person, full time - office or clinic based. London, UK, with some travel required (expectation is to visit each clinic at least once a year).

Responsibilities

• Support the efficient operation of our clinics, ensuring stock and logistics processes contribute to a seamless experience for patients and clinical teams.
• Manage day‑to‑day stock control across all clinic sites, proactively identifying and escalating any risks or issues to the Clinical Logistics Manager.
• Lead inventory management across the organisation, maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring high levels of stock accuracy.
• Coordinate and deliver quarterly and year‑end stock takes across all nationwide clinics, producing and submitting accurate reports.
• Receive, check, organise, and distribute stock deliveries, ensuring inventory is stored efficiently and readily accessible for clinical teams.
• Package and dispatch consumables and stock to clinics, ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment.
• Load, unload, move, and organise stock and deliveries, including lifting and carrying boxes and other stock items as required.
• Verify returned stock from clinics, ensuring items are correctly labelled and quantities reconcile with system records.
• Maintain inventory systems by updating stock movements promptly and accurately.
• Investigate stock discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions to improve stock accuracy.
• Review existing stock control processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and ways of working.
• Use inventory data and operational insight to support decision‑making and contribute to the continuous improvement of stock management processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in stock control and inventory management.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or operational environment is desirable.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• A proactive and self‑motivated approach, with confidence taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve stock or operational issues.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate stock records and systems.
• Good analytical skills, with the ability to use data and system information to support operational decision‑making.
• Proficiency in using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and clinic sites.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and contribute to process improvements and new ways of working.
• Be comfortable undertaking manual handling activities, including lifting, carrying, moving, and organising boxes and stock items safely as part of the role.
