Job Summary: At the UKVein Clinic, we are looking for a vascular nurse to help deliver varicose vein treatments to the growing demand of patients nationwide. We are expanding our services across the UK and seek someone who can work flexibly across Cambridge and nearby locations. The successful candidate will report to the Lead Vascular Nurse.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all safety checks before each clinic session, including cleaning the room before, during, and after treatment.
- Collaborate with another nurse to support the consultant during patient treatment.
- Provide a warm, welcoming environment, engaging patients throughout the appointment to ensure they feel safe and reassured.
- Explain aftercare and support for best results post‑treatment.
- Work as part of a team to adhere to CQC regulations at all times.
- Attend clinical specialty meetings to discuss the care pathway, training, or additional support required.
Required Qualifications / Skills
- Nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) with at least 1‑year post‑qualification experience.
- Up‑to‑date mandatory training record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred (but not essential)
- Previous experience in private practice.
- Understanding and knowledge of venous disease and conditions.
