At the UKVein Clinic, we are looking for a vascular nurse to join our team to help deliver varicose vein treatments to the growing demand of patients nationwide. We are proud to be expanding our services across the UK and are looking for someone who is keen to work flexibly across Norwich, Fakenham and other various locations. The successful candidate will report into our Lead Vascular Nurse.
Main Duties
- Responsible for the performance of all safety checks before a clinic starts, including cleaning the room before, during, and after treatment.
- Work in collaboration with one other nurse, supporting the consultant in treating the patient.
- Provide a warm and welcoming environment for patients at the clinic, keeping them talking throughout the appointment and ensuring they feel safe and reassured.
- Ensure the patient understands how to get the best results after treatment, including information around aftercare and available support.
- Work as part of a team to adhere to CQC regulations at all times.
- Attend clinical specialty meetings to discuss the care pathway, training, or any support required.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) with at least 1‑year post‑qualification experience.
- A record of up‑to‑date mandatory training.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred but not essential
- Previous experience in private practice.
- Understanding and knowledge of venous disease and conditions.
