Overview
At the UKVein Clinic, we are seeking a vascular nurse to join our team delivering varicose vein treatments across the UK. The role will involve working flexibly across Plymouth, Exeter and other locations, reporting to the Lead Vascular Nurse.
Key responsibilities
- Perform safety checks and maintain the clinical environment before, during and after treatments.
- Collaborate with another nurse to support the consultant in patient treatment.
- Provide a warm, welcoming environment and engage patients throughout appointments.
- Educate patients on after‑care and best outcomes post‑treatment.
- Work as part of a team to adhere to CQC regulations.
- Attend clinical specialty meetings to discuss care pathways, training and support.
Required qualifications and skills
- Registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) with at least 1 year post‑qualification experience.
- Up‑to‑date mandatory training record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred (but not essential)
- Previous experience in private practice.
- Understanding and knowledge of venous disease and conditions.
