The Tote are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our Customer Operations Team. The Tote has been part of the UK betting landscape for nearly a century, we are racing\’s most popular pool betting operator and can be found online and across all racecourses in the UK and Ireland. What you\’ll be doing: Our Customer Operations Teams are at the heart of our business and are dedicated to providing an exceptional customer experience at every stage of the customer journey. As a Customer Operations Team Member, you will play a key part in ensuring our customers have a smooth and safe experience when betting with the Tote. It will be a flexible role where you\’ll dive into our different functions and gain a broad understanding of our operation. Some of our functions include Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Player Protection (Safer Gambling), Fraud & Payments administration and Racing Operations. To support you in this role you\’ll receive a comprehensive and structured training programme where you\’ll develop your knowledge and skills to enhance your career with the Tote and provide opportunities for further growth and specialisation.
The role will be based from our headquarters in Wigan, our HQ is the main hub for our talent team of over 200 innovative and ambitious experts dedicated to delivering our vision of delivering exceptional customer experiences. This is an operational role, so you\’ll need to have a flexible approach to work and be able to commit to evening and weekend work on a rota basis. You\’ll be joining the team in a permanent full-time role (37.5 hour per week), the majority of your shifts will be from our office, but some shifts could be based from home.
We are looking for committed and meticulous individuals with proven experience working in a customer facing role and can demonstrate excellent customer service skills. We aren\’t looking for previous knowledge or experience within our industry, but you will need to be able to demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and grow. As a Customer Operations Team Member, we won\’t expect you to be an expert from day one, but you will need flexibility, excellent organisational skills and be confident using Microsoft Office packages.
