Are you an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Fitter looking for a new challenge? This company is looking for a meticulous and motivated individual to join their team in Telford. As a Mechanical and Electrical Fitter, you will have the opportunity to work on complex special purpose machinery and contribute to the company's goals and values.
As a Mechanical and Electrical Fitter you will:
- Mechanically assemble special purpose machinery
- Prepare wires, crimp and assemble looms
- Conduct mechanical and electrical tests on built equipment
- Make minor adjustments to mechanical components
- Fault find and troubleshoot on electrical systems
- Use a wide range of hand tools to include pneumatic
What you will bring:
- Level 3 Qualification in mechanical or electrical or apprenticeship / time served or HNC engineering
- Proven experience in a machine or system building environment as a mechanical fitter or electrical fitter
- Bench work, mechanical assembly and basic machining or fabrication experience
- Competent in electrical assembly and wiring
- Mechanical and electrical testing utilising special purpose equipment
- Proficient with a range of hand measuring equipment
Current or recent experience as a mechanical fitter, electrical fitter, machine builder, system builder, multi-skilled fitter, maintenance engineer, tool maker, tool technician, maintenance technician, mechanical technician, electrical technician or service engineer.
