About us

UK Therapy Rooms was founded in 2016 by clinical psychologist Dr Daniel Glazer and surgeon Dr Danny Sinitsky, after Daniel struggled to find a suitable therapy room of his own. That moment of frustration became a shared vision: a simpler, smarter way for health and wellbeing professionals to find the right space to support their clients. What began as a directory for talking-therapy rooms has grown into the UK's leading platform for renting wellbeing spaces. Today we list rooms in clinics, gyms, salons, spas and medical facilities, supporting counsellors, psychologists, massage therapists, personal trainers, coaches, beauty and aesthetic practitioners and many more. We are a small, agile team driven by a genuine passion for the wellness community, and we are entering an exciting new chapter focused on video and social media.

Why this role, why now

More and more people are discovering, comparing and choosing therapy and wellbeing spaces on social media. Video — Reels, Stories, TikTok and short-form on Facebook and YouTube — is fast becoming where that conversation happens. We want UK Therapy Rooms to be at the very centre of it. This is a brand-new role created to own our video presence end to end: from strategy and storytelling through to filming, editing, publishing and (yes) stepping in front of the camera. You will be the creative force that brings our members' beautiful spaces and inspiring stories to life.

The role

As our Video Content Manager you will develop and deliver a video content strategy across our social channels, and then make it happen. You will be hands-on, visiting members, meeting the therapists and practitioners who rent through us, and capturing the spaces and people that make our community special. We cover the whole of the UK, and while we anticipate that most filming will take place in London, there may be occasional travel further afield.

  • Develop and own a clear, ambitious video content strategy for our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube), aligned to our brand and growth goals.
  • Plan, shoot and edit engaging short-form video content — room showcases, "space of the week" features, behind-the-scenes, practitioner stories, tips and trend-led formats.
  • Visit UK Therapy Rooms members to film their spaces and interview the owners and founders behind them, prioritising visually striking spaces with compelling stories — predominantly in London, with occasional travel elsewhere in the UK.
  • Speak to therapists, practitioners and users of the website to capture authentic testimonials and real experiences.
  • Appear on camera where appropriate, becoming a recognisable, trusted face for the brand on social media.
  • Manage the full production process from idea to publication — scripting, filming, editing, captions and scheduling.
  • Track performance (views, reach, engagement, follower growth) and use the insight to refine and improve the strategy.
  • Stay on top of platform trends and algorithm changes so our content stays fresh, relevant and shareable.
  • Repurpose content across channels to maximise reach and consistency of our brand voice.

About you

We are looking for a creative, proactive all-rounder who can both think strategically and roll up their sleeves to produce content. You will be comfortable working autonomously in a small team and confident building relationships with the practitioners and members you meet.

  • You will likely have around 2–4 years' experience creating video content for social media (in-house, agency, freelance or your own well-followed channels).
  • A strong portfolio of short-form, social-first video that demonstrates your eye for visuals and storytelling.
  • Hands-on filming skills (including comfortable mobile/phone shooting) and confident editing (e.g. CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar).
  • Genuine confidence and warmth on camera, and a willingness to be a face of the brand.
  • A solid understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube, and what makes content perform on each.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the sensitivity needed to work in a health and wellbeing context.
  • A self-starter mindset — able to own projects from idea to publication and manage your own time across shoots and edits.

Nice to have:

  • An interest in health, wellbeing, therapy or wellness.
  • Basic graphic design skills.
  • Experience analysing content performance.

What we offer

  • A salary of £30,000–£40,000 per annum, depending on experience (paid pro rata across the 3-month trial).
  • A genuine opportunity to shape a brand-new role and make a visible impact.
  • Creative freedom and ownership of our video strategy from day one.
  • A supportive, collaborative and friendly small team that values initiative and fresh ideas.
  • Variety — with regular visits to beautiful spaces and inspiring people, mostly across London and occasionally further afield in the UK.
  • The realistic prospect of a permanent role for the right person after the trial.

How to apply

If you are a creative video storyteller who is just as comfortable behind the camera as in front of it, we would love to hear from you. Please send the following via LinkedIn or email:

  • Your CV.
  • A short video (around 60–90 seconds) telling us why you and why this role excites you — this is your chance to show us your on-camera presence and creativity.
  • A link to your portfolio, showreel or social channels showing your video work.
