Overview
Royal Ballet and Opera, based in Covent Garden, central London, is home to the Royal Opera, the Royal Ballet, and the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House.
A registered charity with national reach, we deliver world-class performances and learning programmes that enrich peoples lives with ballet and opera.
We aim to help every visitor understand who we are, what we do, and how they can enjoy our performances, events, tours, exhibitions, shop, café, restaurants and more.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet visitors
- Share information and answer questions
- Accompany tour groups to ensure they remain together
- Help to manage queues and busy spaces
- Assist staff in keeping everyone safe
- Escalate problems or complaints to staff
- Use radio to communicate with staff and volunteer team
- Be part of the Customer Experience team under the supervision of the Customer Experience Manager
- Support the supervision of the Customer Experience Team
- Reporting and Collaboration
- Role includes working with the Maintenance Technician and casual maintenance staff, and collaborating with the wider technical and Back of House team
- Reports to the Theatre Director and is responsible for associated venues and roles as listed (New Victoria Theatre, Rhoda Mc Gaw Cinema and Nova Cinema in Woking)
