A big hello from the team at Compuco. At Compuco, we empower socially responsible organisations with the digital tools they need to build a better world. We partner with charities and membership organisations across their digital stack, helping them modernise processes using the latest AI‑enabled website and CRM technology, allowing them to focus on impact. With our HQ in London and a team spread across the globe, we bring together talented creatives, organisers, and engineers. You’ll join an open, collaborative culture where ideas are shared, voices are heard, and your work can make a real difference.

About The Role

We’re looking for an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to join our growing commercial team. This role is ideal for someone with over 5 years of B2B sales experience who thrives in a consultative sales environment, enjoys building relationships, and is motivated by helping purpose‑driven organisations embrace digital transformation.

You will develop, own and manage your own pipeline of opportunities from prospecting through to close, reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing to shape and execute outbound sales strategies, develop sector relationships, and drive revenue growth across target verticals. This is a highly collaborative role combining outbound business development, consultative selling, solution discovery, proposal development, and commercial negotiation. You’ll also play a visible role in the sector by representing Compuco at events, running webinars, and building relationships with key stakeholders across the nonprofit space.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities across the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to contract signature.
  • Develop and execute strategic outbound sales campaigns in partnership with the Head of Sales and Marketing.
  • Identify, engage, and nurture prospective charity, membership and government organisations through multi‑channel outreach.
  • Run high‑quality discovery conversations to uncover organisational challenges, goals, and digital transformation opportunities.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and consultative solution presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across prospective clients.
  • Prepare proposals, pricing, statements of work, and commercial contracts.
  • Lead negotiations and manage deals through procurement and contracting processes.
  • Represent Compuco at sector events, conferences, networking opportunities, and webinars.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Sales and Marketing on campaign messaging, lead generation initiatives, and thought leadership activity.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting, CRM hygiene, and sales reporting.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes, messaging, and commercial strategy.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5 years of experience in IT B2B sales, account management, business development, or consultative SaaS sales.
  • Experience managing full end‑to‑end sales cycles and consistently creating and closing new business opportunities.
  • Confidence running discovery calls, solution demonstrations, and commercial negotiations.
  • A genuine interest in understanding and helping purpose‑driven organisations.
  • Experience using CRMs or sales engagement tools.

Ideal candidate profile:

  • Confident communicator with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build credibility and rapport with senior stakeholders.
  • Interest in digital transformation, technology, or open‑source solutions.
  • Highly organised, detail‑focused, and able to manage multiple prospects and follow‑ups effectively.
  • Curious, coachable, and eager to learn.
  • Proactive and resilient, with motivation to create and sustain outbound prospecting activity.
  • Commercially minded while remaining empathetic and consultative.
  • Quickly understands customer challenges and communicates relevant value clearly.
  • Collaborative and comfortable working cross‑functionally.
  • Motivated by challenges, targets, and continuous improvement.
  • Passionate about helping purpose‑driven organisations create positive impact.

What you’ll get from us:

  • Flexible remote working, with access to our London HQ including home equipment allowance.
  • Work from abroad for 1 month per annum.
  • Additional holiday for long‑standing team members, additional shutdown holiday days, birthday day off, and “Summer Fridays”.
  • Flexible hours options including a 4‑day week and 9‑day fortnight.
  • Private health insurance.
  • Personal development allowance and paid time off to grow your skills.
  • Wellness day to support physical or mental health.
  • Two volunteer days per year for charitable activities.
  • A supportive, international team culture.
  • The opportunity to play a key role in shaping Compuco’s growth journey.
  • Meaningful work helping organisations create positive social impact.

Details:

  • Location: UK remote, hybrid, or London HQ.
  • Type: Permanent, full time.
  • Salary: £57k OTE.
  • Reporting to: Head of Sales and Marketing.
