We are looking for ONE very special and highly ambitious (part time) Audio Engineer/Producer Co-Founder to be one of two engineers to head up a unique podcast based in Central London. We are not another generic production company looking to pump out arbitrary shows; we are looking to do a LOT more in Podcasting.
Work will be on Sundays only (around 3-4 hours max) for the time being until we really get going financially. We use Ableton Live and Rodecaster Pro to record the shows, so it is great if you have used that type of hardware/software, but it is not a huge issue if you haven’t.
As we are currently unfunded, there is no money (for any of us right now), but this will change later in the year once we start really promoting the shows and the company. Until that point, we keep the work to Sunday afternoons or maybe a weekday from 7pm here and there if a guest is not available on weekends.
For this role, we are looking for someone with personality who is looking to be part of a small team with BIG ambitions and who wants to put their name on something they created. We are only looking for one other person, so if seriously interested, then get in contact with your details ASAP!
Please send your application direct to team@podcastworld.org with the word 'Producer' in the title.
Application Requirements:
- Which part of London you live?
- That you understand that (for now) the position is unpaid for all of us.
- Some details on who you are and what you’re into?
- That as a general rule you have Sunday mornings free and are able to get into Central London fairly hassle-free?
- Confirm you have watched at least one of the shows so that you get the idea of the narrative and feel of the podcast.
Anyone who responds professionally (to the email address given above) will be given a response either way.
