Corgi Insurance is a YC-backed insurtech that has raised over $108M at a $630M valuation. We're building AI-powered business insurance for tech startups and SMEs, expanding across the UK and EU.
We are building the financial infrastructure of a fast-scaling insurtech. This is not a bookkeeping role. We need someone sharp who can think about money the way a portfolio manager thinks about risk—systematically, with precision, and always asking "why."
What You Will Do
- Design and automate financial reporting, dashboards, and operational metrics
- Own the full P&L picture - revenue recognition, cost analysis, margin tracking
- Build models for forecasting, scenario planning, and investor reporting
- Automate accounts payable/receivable workflows
- Support fundraising with data rooms, financial narratives, and diligence prep
- Work directly with the VP of Operations on capital allocation and financial strategy
What We Are Looking For
- Smart, analytical, and relentless about accuracy
- Background in equity research, trading, asset management, consulting, or FP&A preferred
- Strong financial modelling skills (Excel/Sheets, Python is a plus)
- Ability to automate and systematise, not just process
- Comfortable with ambiguity and building from scratch
