Location: North West England Hybrid | Salary: £40,000-£60,000 DOE + bonus and benefits
The Opportunity
Are you an ambitious Private Client insurance professional who enjoys winning new business, building relationships and developing a strong portfolio of high-net-worth clients?
We're working with an established, independent insurance broker looking to appoint a commercially minded Private Client Account Executive based in the North West. This is a sales-focused opportunity for someone who understands the HNW insurance market, is confident developing new relationships and wants to play an active role in growing an established Private Client division.
The business has built its reputation on personal service, specialist expertise and long-term client relationships. You'll have the opportunity to use your market knowledge and relationship-building skills to generate new business, develop introducer networks and secure bespoke insurance solutions for high-net-worth individuals.
This is a hands-on, new-business-focused role, suited to someone who enjoys being out in the market, building connections and turning opportunities into lasting client relationships.
The Role

Generate new business across the HNW Private Client insurance market, taking opportunities from initial enquiry through to successful placement.

Proactively develop relationships with high-net-worth individuals, professional introducers and referral partners.

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.

Identify opportunities to grow the Private Client portfolio through networking, referrals and business development activity.

Understand clients' individual circumstances and arrange appropriate insurance solutions for their homes, vehicles and other high-value assets.

Work closely with insurers and underwriting partners to negotiate competitive terms and secure suitable cover for complex risks.

Build trust with prospective clients through knowledgeable advice, responsive service and a personal approach.

Maintain accurate records of opportunities, pipeline activity and sales performance.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the continued growth of the Private Client division.
What We're Looking For

Proven experience in Private Client insurance, ideally covering HNW or UHNW individuals.

A strong track record of generating new business and converting opportunities into sales.

Experience developing relationships with introducers, referral partners or other professional networks.

Good technical knowledge of HNW insurance products, particularly high-value household and prestige motor.

Confidence dealing with affluent clients and understanding their individual insurance requirements.

Strong insurer negotiation skills and the ability to find solutions for complex or unusual risks.

A commercially driven, proactive approach with the confidence to develop your own pipeline.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Based in the North West, within a reasonable travelling distance of the Manchester area, and comfortable attending meetings and building regular face-to-face relationships with the wider team.
Cert CII or progress towards a professional insurance qualification would be advantageous.
