UK Staffing Group are continuing our successful partnership with a fast-growing independent insurance brokerage in Manchester as they expand their Business Protection team with a number of Sales Advisors. This is a genuine sales role. It's busy, high-volume and target-driven, and we're looking for people who enjoy working at pace, speaking to a large number of customers and converting opportunities into business. Who We're Looking For

  • You don't necessarily need previous insurance experience.
  • We are interested in people who have experience in Outbound B2B Sales, who are target driven and ambitious, we are looking for true Hunters!!!
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Experience working in a high-volume sales environment.
  • Confidence managing a large pipeline of opportunities.
  • Strong questioning and listening skills.
  • The ability to build credibility quickly with customers.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Confident objection handling.
  • Strong follow-up and closing skills.
  • The ability to work at pace without sacrificing quality.
  • Resilience and a competitive mindset.
  • The motivation to earn through uncapped commission.
  • Existing Protection or Business Insurance experience would be a definite advantage, but full product training is available for people with the right sales background.

The Role

You'll speak with business owners and individuals to understand their circumstances and recommend appropriate insurance and protection solutions. The environment is high-volume, so you'll need to be comfortable managing multiple opportunities, having a significant number of customer conversations and maintaining momentum throughout the sales process. You'll be trained across products including: Business Protection, Key Person Protection, Shareholder Protection, Relevant Life, Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover, Income Protection.

You'll be responsible for taking opportunities through the sales process, completing fact-finds, understanding client requirements, presenting suitable solutions, overcoming objections, following up and ultimately converting business.
