UK Staffing Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Inventory Assistant to support the efficient management of stock, including medicines, consumables, and medical equipment.

Location: Manchester City Centre

Start Date: 27th

Contract: Initially a 2-month temporary contract (with potential to be extended)

This is a hands-on role focused on stock control, procurement support, and ensuring accurate storage and distribution to multiple clinic locations. You will be responsible for receiving and checking deliveries, maintaining inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and preparing orders for dispatch, all while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience in stock control or purchasing (healthcare experience desirable), strong organisational skills, and good Excel knowledge. You should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment. A willingness to travel nationwide is essential.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and monitoring stock levels
  • Receiving, inspecting, and storing goods correctly
  • Picking, packing, and distributing stock to clinics
  • Supporting audits, stock counts, and reporting discrepancies
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and storage regulations
