We're supporting a growing specialist contractor that delivers complex Design & Build projects across sectors including pharmaceuticals, healthcare, life sciences, advanced manufacturing and high-specification commercial environments.
With an exceptional order book, ambitious growth plans and a genuine commitment to developing its people, this is an opportunity to become a key member of a commercial team with clear progression into senior leadership.
The Role
Working closely with experienced Project Managers, you'll play a key role in the commercial delivery of technically challenging turnkey projects, including:
- Commercial management of Design & Build projects
- Valuations and payment applications
- Pricing variations and change control
- Cost reporting and forecasting
- Subcontract procurement and commercial management
- Managing commercial risk throughout the project lifecycle
- Contract administration (predominantly JCT, with some NEC)
- Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams
This is primarily an office-based position with occasional site visits, providing close collaboration with the wider commercial, design and project delivery teams.
About You
We're keen to speak with Quantity Surveyors who have
- Building Services or MEP experience
- Contractor-side Quantity Surveying experience
- Design & Build project experience
- Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
- Strong commercial awareness
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach
Experience within specialist fit-out, cleanrooms, pharmaceutical, healthcare or technically complex construction projects would be advantageous but is by no means essential.
