Fleet Manager
Location: Wilmslow, Cheshire
Salary: £40,000-£45,000 + benefits, with flexibility up to £50,000 for an exceptional candidate
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, with 1 day working from home available
The Opportunity
UK Staffing Group is working with SCS Chauffeur, a premium chauffeur business based in Wilmslow, to recruit a Fleet Manager.
SCS operates a fleet of around 50 predominantly Mercedes vehicles, providing a high-quality chauffeur service to clients across the UK and internationally.
This is a key role within the business, responsible for keeping the fleet running efficiently, reliably and to the high standards expected of a premium chauffeur service.
The Role
As Fleet Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day management of the vehicle fleet, making sure vehicles are properly maintained, available when needed and kept to a consistently high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing a fleet of approximately 50 predominantly Mercedes vehicles
Scheduling servicing, routine maintenance, MOTs and repairs
Managing vehicle downtime and ensuring vehicles are available for operational use
Managing fleet-related costs and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency
Managing relationships with garages, dealerships and other suppliers
Overseeing tyres, servicing and general vehicle maintenance
Keeping accurate records across the fleet
Ensuring vehicles are equipped with the required technology, including dash cams and Wi-Fi devices
Monitoring vehicle condition and presentation
Coordinating maintenance requirements around operational demands
Ensuring vehicles meet the required safety and compliance standards
Dealing with any fleet issues quickly and effectively
Supporting the ongoing development and management of the fleet
About You
We're looking for an experienced Fleet Manager, or someone with strong fleet, transport or automotive experience who is ready to take the next step.
