About the Role: Are you an experienced Service Engineer with a passion for training and development? My client, a leading manufacturer of construction machinery, is seeking a Technical Service and Training Manager to join their team in Rochdale. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering technical training to dealer engineers and providing service-related technical support. You will also be tasked with creating and administering a comprehensive training program for all company engineers in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of two service engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Develop and deliver training programs, including presentations to classes of up to 10 engineers.
- Address service-related technical issues and provide support to dealer engineers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a service engineer, with a focus on construction machinery.
- Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for this role.
- Training Experience: Proven work experience as a training manager or in a similar role.
