Quality Manager
Location: East Manchester
Salary: Β£45,000-Β£50,000 DOE
Full-time | Site based
An established manufacturing business with operations in the South of England is expanding into the North West with the opening of a new fabrication facility in East Manchester.
This is a significant investment for the business and an opportunity to join the new operation at an early stage. We are recruiting a hands-on Quality Manager who will take ownership of developing and embedding the site's Quality Management System, establishing robust operational quality controls and supporting the facility through ISO 9001 accreditation.
The Opportunity
This role is about building quality into a new manufacturing operation, rather than simply maintaining an established system.
Working closely with the Operations Manager and the wider business, you will take the lead on developing practical quality processes that work on the shop floor as well as meeting ISO and customer requirements.

Just as importantly, you'll be visible within the operation. You'll regularly audit and spot-check what's happening in practice, work directly with production teams and challenge standards where necessary.
As the facility develops, there will also be an opportunity to contribute to improving and aligning quality standards across the wider business.
