The Role
We are looking for a proactive Event Support professional to assist with live and virtual events. No prior events experience is required - full training will be provided. You will play a key role in ensuring every event runs smoothly, supporting technical operations and providing excellent attendee service.
Key Responsibilities
- Virtual Events:
- Moderate live chat and assist attendees with technical issues
- Set up and manage breakout rooms for networking or group discussions
- Troubleshoot audio, video, and connectivity issues in real time
- Prepare event rooms and set up AV equipment according to presenter needs
- Support presenters and attendees throughout events
- Assist with event coordination to ensure smooth delivery
- Collaborate with the event team to execute events seamlessly
- Track engagement and compile post-event feedback
Skills & Experience
- Technical support, customer service, or event coordination experience
- Comfortable with AV setup and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with virtual platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams (preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and adaptability
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally
