The UK Sports Institute offers a full‑time (or part‑time) Senior Strength & Conditioning Coach role within Performance Rehabilitation. The postholder will support Paralympic athletes returning to competition after injury and help shape a world‑leading service across Loughborough and Sheffield.
A snapshot of the role:
- Work with the Clinical and Human Performance Leads to develop diagnostics and rehabilitation services for the north and central regions.
- Collaborate with the Senior Para Rehabilitation Network Physiotherapist to support athlete reconditioning and preparation for performance after injury.
- Lead aspects of physical preparation and contribute to decision‑making in complex rehabilitation cases.
- Manage sport stakeholder relationships and support projects and initiatives within the Performance Rehabilitation Team and the wider High‑Performance System.
- Autonomously plan and deliver training programmes for Paralympic athletes from a diverse range of sports.
