The Department

The Club's Security and Matchday Safety Department are vital to the Club in ensuring that our people and premises are safe and protected. We provide exceptional service across all Club sites, and the department is now expanding to ensure we can continue to deliver excellence and keeping the Club running smoothly with confidence.
The Role
- Villa Park - 42 hours a week (working a shift pattern including days, nights, evenings and weekends)
- Bodymoor Heath Training Ground - 40 hours a week (working a shift pattern including days, nights, evenings and weekends)
Working as part of a team of Security Compliance Officers, you will oversee and support site security operations across the Club's estate, ensuring robust security compliance within a high profile, fast paced environment. You will be a Club ambassador and provide a welcoming and professional first impression to staff, VIP's, visitors and stakeholders.
This is an opportunity to work at the heart of our Club where not two days will be the same - your day-to-day activities will include (but not limited to), conducting regular patrols of the Club sites as required, identifying, reporting and escalating security breaches or notable incidents to the Security Operations Manager or nominated deputy, monitoring and operating CCTV, access control, fire alarms and intruder alarm systems in line with the Club procedures. You will also act as the main point of contact for emergencies, co-ordinating with Police, Fire and Medical services to ensure effective communication and safe incident resolution.

The Person
We are looking for people with a proactive, positive and 'can-do' attitude who thrive working as part of a wider team.
- You must hold a current SIA Security Guard and SIA CCTV Operator Licence or willing to work towards and have previous experience in a similar Security Officer role.
- You must also be available to work shift pattern arrangements which will include working flexibly across days, nights and weekends.
- You will need to have exceptional attention to detail and be comfortable in responding and attending onsite incidents with experience of managing and resolving challenging situations in a professional manner when required.
- You will need to be able to maintain accurate records and work with integrity and discretion at all times.
- You will need to have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships with different audiences.
