About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in shaping the future of high-performance sport in the UK. The Mega Event Team at UK Sport has the specific purpose of providing strategic oversight and leading the frontline implementation of UK Sport’s strategy for Mega Events and provides a critical role to UK Government by acting as the technical agency for mega events. This includes providing specific advice to government on mega event prioritisation, feasibility, and bidding.
This role will lead on providing high quality support across the mega event programme, including tracking cross-workstream activity, managing all reporting requirements and ensuring that programme / project milestones are on track. The role will coordinate with the wider Major Events team to ensure consistency of project management and will be expected to support with special projects, including industry research and knowledge transfer.
