This role is offered on a part-time basis (21 hours per week), with flexibility around how these hours are worked. This could suit someone looking to work during school hours or balance other commitments. The role operates on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of one day per week in the office.

Who will I be working with? You’ll work closely with the Director of Strategy and Business Enabling, acting as their right hand and day‑to‑day partner. You’ll also collaborate with Heads of Department and colleagues across Strategy and Business Enabling, as well as teams right across UK Sport. Externally, you may connect with Board members, senior stakeholders and partners - ensuring communication is clear, timely and professional at all times.

You’re comfortable handling a wide range of tasks - from day‑to‑day coordination to supporting high‑level governance. You do it all with discretion and professionalism. You build strong relationships quickly. You communicate clearly and confidently, and you have the judgement to know when to act, when to escalate and when to challenge.
