We are looking for a Financial Accountant to lead the production of the 2025/26 annual statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver 2025/26 Financial Statements and audit, supported by a two‑month advance and post‑year‑end engagement.
- Maintain knowledge of public sector accounting, audit and taxation regulations.
- Serve as the key contact for external auditors, coordinating audit and audit team liaison.
- Apply IFRS and public sector frameworks (e.g. FReM, SPFM) to financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Professionally qualified accountant, with strong technical, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Demonstrable experience preparing financial statements.
- Good knowledge of IFRS and public sector accounting frameworks.
