We are looking for a Satellite Systems Engineer to join an innovative engineering team developing next-generation communication technologies. The role will focus on the design and integration of terrestrial and satellite communication networks, including 5G, 6G and satellite-enabled connectivity.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and integrate telecoms and satellite communication systems.
- Work on terrestrial and satellite networks, including 5G and 6G technologies.
- Support technical projects and solve complex engineering challenges.
- Integrate telecoms components with embedded systems and hardware platforms.
- Work with external businesses, universities and research organisations.
- Contribute to technical proposals and collaborative projects.
Key Skills
- An MSc in Telecommunications, Satellite Communications or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Four years of experience in telecommunications, satellite communications or a similar field.
- Knowledge of cellular networks, satellite communications, ground stations or network architecture.
- Experience with end-to-end communication system design and integration.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Linux, coding and scripting, embedded systems, hardware platforms, satellite-enabled 5G and 6G
