As an Aerospace Paint Sprayer, you'll play a key role in preparing, masking, spraying and inspecting precision‑engineered aerospace components, ensuring every product meets the highest quality and safety standards.
Shift Pattern
- Double Days (alternating weekly)
- Week 1: 6:00am – 2:00pm
- Week 2: 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Aerospace Paint Sprayer – Responsibilities
- Preparing and cleaning component surfaces prior to painting
- Applying primers, topcoats, gloss, matt, lacquer and specialist coatings using spray equipment
- Masking components using tapes, plugs and bungs to engineering drawings
- Setting and operating curing ovens to specified temperatures and durations
- Unmasking finished components and carrying out touch‑up work where required
- Inspecting painted components for quality, coverage and defects
- Measuring paint thickness and gloss levels to specification
- Maintaining spray equipment, paint booths and work areas
- Carrying out stock checks and maintaining consumable levels
Aerospace Paint Sprayer – Requirements
- Previous experience in industrial, aerospace, automotive or manufacturing paint spraying
- Strong surface preparation and precision finishing experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Understanding of paint application processes and quality standards
- Knowledge of COSHH and the safe handling of paints and chemicals
- Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment
- Comfortable working alternating shift patterns
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work
All candidates will be required to complete baseline security vetting (BPSS) prior to employment commencing.
