It’s an exciting time to join UKSBS as we transform our business to be the leading UK public sector business service provider. We aim to become a very different organisation over the next few years as we move to a modern multi-platform, digitally enabled organisation.
We are now looking for an energetic, professional and flexible trainer to join UKSBS, to encourage our self-serve approach to training, collaborating closely with the Content Management Team, providing excellent customer service across UKSBS and to our clients, with an innovative and positive attitude.
Duties will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Developing and delivering training and exercises, both virtually and in person, using a training environment
- Relationship management with stakeholders and clients to correctly ascertain training requirements through Training Needs Analysis
- Update existing training material and guidance or design new material as required
- Use software to design and update self-directed, innovative training solutions
- Have some understanding of the full training cycle, participating professionally in all or elements of the cycle as required
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Training Services as requested, sharing knowledge with colleagues, stakeholders and clients
- Design and deliver inclusive learning materials, adapting content to different learning styles while maintaining session objectives.
- Respond to learner feedback, adapt delivery to meet client needs, and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Take ownership to gain and maintain personal knowledge on changes to business processes within UKSBS and across the client-base
- Provide accurate guidance and resolve queries by liaising with the wider team and SMEs as needed.
- Engage in Continuous Improvement (CI) objectives across the whole team, working to proactively seek opportunities to evolve and improve our processes and ways of working
To do this role well you will need:
- Proven level of experience designing and delivering systems and ‘soft-skills’ training and the development of eLearning solutions
- Demonstrable Stakeholder management experience, at all levels within an organisation.
- Experience tailoring training design and delivery for different learning styles
- Proven ability to work within a larger project to represent training, collaborating with project teams, stakeholders and clients
- High level of attention to detail
- Support a ‘self-service’ approach for training provision, creating and maintaining content that reaches the needs of colleagues and our clients through recognised software (i.e. Articulate and Clipchamp)
- Skilled in utilising the full Microsoft Office suite
- Passionate about customer service excellence, with a customer-centric outlook to training solutions
- Experience with Oracle or Workday platforms would be beneficial
- An understanding of procurement and finance processes and procedures
- Familiarity with SharePoint, version control and risk management
- Understanding of up to date and best practice training models and theories
- Awareness of procurement and finance processes
- Knowledge of Kirkpatrick Model for evaluation and quality assurance methodology would be advantageous.
