What We Are Looking For
We are looking for an experienced Working Site Foreman to join our rapidly expanding team to work within a busy environment. You will be working on some of the UK’s oldest buildings, managing a team of Restoration operatives. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience, as well as theoretical knowledge.
Your day-to-day activities may include:
- Liaising with clients and reporting on progress to staff and the public
- Supervising construction workers and subcontractors
- Ordering materials for each phase of the project
- Monitoring build costs and project progress
- Conducting quality and safety inspections
- Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
- Motivating the workforce
- Day-to-day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise
- Working on-site in all weathers and on the tools when necessary
What You Need To Have
- Previous Experience working as a Site Foreman, Supervisor or Manager
- Experience & Knowledge of building and construction
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor) or SMSTS (Site Manager) qualification or equivalent
- Excellent time management and leadership skills
- Good initiative and logical thinking skills
- Great attention to detail
- Previous Experience in the Heritage sector an advantage
- Excellent awareness of site health and safety
- Proficient in Microsoft 365/Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK Driving license (MUST be able to make own way to our remote yard on a daily basis)
