What We Are Looking For
We are looking for an experienced Plasterer to join our rapidly expanding team to work within a busy environment. You will be working on some of the UK’s oldest buildings as part of a team of Restoration operatives. You will be responsible for carrying out the following:
- Plastering & Rendering with lime based mortars
- Maintenance & repairs to existing renders
- Resecuring original ceiling and wall plaster
- Patch repairs to original ceiling and wall plaster
- Analysis of the original plaster
- Replacements & refurbishment work
- Providing assistance to other areas of restoration work
What You Need To Have
- Previous experience as a plasterer
- A relevant trade qualification or extensive “on the job” experience
- Experience working with lime products an advantage
- Experience working with Lathe and plaster structures an advantage
- Experience working with plaster mouldings an advantage
- Previous Experience in the Heritage sector an advantage
- Other trade skills would be of an advantage
- A proven track record
- The ability to work from own initiative or as part of a team
- Great attention to detail
- Able to manage workload and have work completed on time
- Excellent awareness of site health and safety
- CSCS card preferable
- Full UK Driving license (MUST be able to make own way to our remote yard on a daily basis)
