If you’re a joiner who wants to join, join us! UK Restoration Services has an excellent opportunity for a qualified Carpenter/Joiner to join our onsite workforce. UK Restoration Services is one of the leading specialists in building and structural restoration. Working throughout the UK, we take pride in reinstating the nations built heritage, with a consistently high standard to meet and exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities
- 1st and 2nd fix work.
- Repairing timber frames and roof trusses.
- Splicing rotten timber ends on trusses, purlins, etc.
- Repairing historic windows, doors.
- Roof timber work, valleys, replacement rafters, skylights, etc.
What You Need To Have
- NVQ or City & Guilds equivalent
- Previous Experience in the Heritage sector an advantage
- Experience with Workshop Machinery an advantage
- Other trade skills would be of an advantage
- The ability to work from own initiative or as part of a team
- Great attention to detail
- Able to manage workload and have work completed on time
- Excellent awareness of site health and safety
- CSCS card (preferable)
- Own tools & equipment
- Full UK driving licence
- Proven track record
- References / Portfolio an advantage
