THE ROLE
The Salesforce Strategic Alliance Executive is responsible for formulating and executing the joint go-to-market plan with Salesforce field to drive new sales for Certinia. A subcomponent of this plan is the creation and execution of a consistent, continuous education, communication and awareness strategy to increase Certinia knowledge and understanding within the Salesforce segment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE
- Develop a Enterprise market, Joint Go-To-Market Plan between Salesforce and Certinia
- Build relationships & customer engagement plans with Salesforce and Certinia Sales teams
- Develop joint value propositions and collateral to educate the Salesforce field and customers. Leverage creative, consistent engagement approaches to do so
- Develop and maintain consistent Certinia sales engagement to educate, motivate, guide optimal SF engagement, pipeline creation and deal execution.
- Build and measure pipeline/bookings to hit and exceed targets
- Implement governance model to manage the partnership and overcome obstacles/escalations
- Work with both marketing teams to develop a strong joint marketing and event plans
- Achieve maximum leverage from the partnership to drive competitive advantage and bookings
- Manage ongoing solution and company updates to Salesforce
- Align Certinia marketing and sales plays appropriately for joint demand creation
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelors of Science
- Minimum 8-10 years of industry experience in professional services, SaaS, ERP, CRM or similar field
- Direct sales/business development experience with strong solution selling knowledge
- Proven Channel sales experience
- Salesforce platform/ecosystem
- CRM/ERP/PSA domain experience
- Cloud/SaaS with subscription model knowledge
- Strong communication and presentations skills
- Ability to work with C-Level executives
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; love for technology and a team player that can demonstrate a real flair and dedication to customer satisfaction both internally and externally.
- Strong time management skills, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritise your workload, along with resourcefulness in getting over problems and establishing clarity.
