THE ROLE
We are seeking a versatile, highly organized, and analytical HR Specialist for a dynamic temporary assignment. This multi-faceted role bridges global benefits administration, end-to-end employee lifecycle operations, and structured project management assistance. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the efficiency of our global People function. You will help support annual HR programs, support daily HR operations, and act as a project collaborator for key upcoming initiatives. WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE
- Project Management & Process Optimization: Assist with Global HR Programs: Collaborate with project leads on upcoming HR programs including but not limited to annual performance process, annual merit process, and benefits open enrollment. Will assist teams with upcoming operational milestones (e.g., global benefits renewals, vendor RFPs, policy implementations, or process updates), tracking timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Process Engineering: Evaluate, develop, and document HR processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to bridge gaps between People Ops, Business Partners and Benefits.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with People Business Partners, Payroll, Benefits, external vendors and other teams to streamline processes where applicable.
- Global Benefits Analysis & Compliance: Program & Renewal Support: Assists with the management of benefits operations, including new hire enrollment, offboarding, processing data updates, and net new policy updates. Assists with global annual benefits renewal processes; employee census, plan review, and coordinate employee meetings. Serves as the first point of contact for global leaves requests.
- Complex Problem-Solving: Support geo specific regulations regarding benefits, and leaves of absence queries, day-to-day general support and helping to manage escalations and resolution alongside our broker teams and internal partners. Help to manage monthly benefits payroll reporting, applying detailed analysis to guarantee data integrity and accuracy for final processing.
- Communications Coordination: Help support and execute communication strategies and educational resources for annual renewals and HR Specific projects to enhance employee understanding of our global programs. Reviews existing communication channels and resources for accuracy and makes enhancements as needed.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in benefits or HR operations.
- Strong organizational skills is critical, ensuring multiple deliverables are met within the targeted timelines.
- Strong attention to detail to manage successfully manage the integrity of day-to-day processes, reports and invoices.
- Ability to independently problem-solve employees queries and other complex benefits operational or system issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to clearly explain benefit details and information to employees and stakeholders.
- Proficient in HR systems and benefit administration software, UKG a plus.
- Advanced in Google sheets or Excel (managing data, auditing, reporting).
