We are recruiting for two Team Leaders to join Authorisation, one of the SRA’s largest operational areas. Authorisation plays a key role at the heart of regulation, admitting and authorising firms and individuals, delivering the annual practising certificate renewal, and handling more than 170,000 applications each year.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and coach a team of Authorisation Officers to deliver high-quality, timely decisions that support our regulatory objectives.
- Take ownership of key processes within your area, driving performance against service level agreements and continuous improvement.
Requirements of the role
- Energetic team player with a passion for helping people reach their potential.
- Experience of managing an operational team, ideally in a caseworking environment, and in delivering high standards of quality, customer service and positive team culture.
- Ability to influence and constructively call out internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
- Track record of managing and owning the development and successful implementation of processes to deliver results.
- Resilient and able to work in a constantly changing environment.
- Pro-active and makes decisions, even if difficult or unpopular.
