In the role of Management Accountant, you will work closely with the Finance Business Partners to provide management accounting services to the SRA, ensuring that financial records and reporting reflect the underlying operations of the business.
This is a new role, working alongside an existing Management Account. As well as day to day work such as ensuring month end reporting goes smoothly, you will also lead on improvement projects which may include reviewing funding models and use of analysis codes.
Our financial year end is the end of October, and this period is critical for supporting year end accounting as well as making any necessary improvements for the next financial year.
You’ll work collaboratively with the Finance team and wider business as needed.
To be successful in this role you must be very well organised with good attention to detail and an understanding of financial processes and rules. You must also be good at working with others at all levels of the organisation.
