We’re offering a permanent position with a unique opportunity to lead the regulation of CO₂ transport and storage infrastructure, a key pillar of the UK's strategy for reducing emissions and driving long-term environmental sustainability. Working within our Low Carbon Regulated Asset Base team, you’ll drive regulation from design into delivery, operating at the intersection of policy, regulation and investment, influencing government, shaping markets and enabling major infrastructure projects to progress with confidence.
You’ll be leading a high-performing, supportive team working at pace on exciting and complex policy areas, from regulatory framework development to investor engagement. You’ll also help set direction across a portfolio that includes hydrogen transport and new nuclear finance. This is a fast-evolving space with real-world implications, and you’ll be right at the heart of it.
We’re looking for someone with deep experience of economic regulation and a strong track record of leadership. You’ll bring strategic thinking, confident communication, and a passion for building inclusive, effective teams. Your ability to lead cross-cutting programmes and influence senior stakeholders will be essential, as will your skill in translating technical frameworks into actionable regulatory practice.
