Requirements of the role:

  • Support work across the Capabilities and Controls team across a range of operational functions, including governance, risk, controls, quality assurance, business improvement and implementation.
  • Work with colleagues across different teams to understand operational issues, identify themes and support practical improvements.
  • Ensure actions, risks, decisions and dependencies are clearly owned, tracked, progressed and followed through.
  • Use sound judgement to prioritise activity, spot where issues need attention and elevate matters appropriately.
  • Support governance forums, including preparing updates and papers, coordinating inputs and ensuring clear follow-up on agreed actions.
  • Support the division’s approach to risk and controls by helping teams identify, assess and manage operational risks in a proportionate way.
