This is a newly developing area of work, giving you the opportunity to shape frameworks, processes and regulatory approaches from the very beginning. Intelligent Oversight is focused on how Ofgem identifies issues earlier, strengthens regulatory assurance and applies more proportionate and effective responses across energy network companies. Your work will contribute to how this approach is designed, embedded and applied across the organisation. Alongside this, you’ll help build capability across teams, embedding consistent approaches and supporting continuous improvement as the work develops.
Job Description
But what will you need? Experience leading policy development and operational design within a regulated, supervisory or performance oversight environment will be vital, and you’ll be someone with strong policy development and writing skills. You will also need the ability to shape clear frameworks, translate complex evidence into practical recommendations and work across multidisciplinary teams to deliver outcomes. Strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills will be essential, alongside experience designing and embedding new approaches within evolving environments.
