We are now seeking a Head of Intelligence, Analysis & Insight to establish and lead a new function to support our Audit, Compliance & Counter Fraud teams. This is a senior, influential role for someone who thrives on building capability, shaping strategy, and embedding intelligence‑led decision making in a complex, high‑impact environment.
Initially, you will focus on understanding the needs of senior leaders and operational teams, conducting a gap analysis, and designing a fit‑for‑purpose operating model. You will then lead the implementation of new systems, processes and governance that enable high‑quality intelligence collection, analysis and dissemination, while strengthening existing workstreams.
As the function matures, you will provide strategic leadership of intelligence, analysis and insight across Audit & Compliance. You will oversee intelligence and data analysis to identify risks, trends and emerging threats, shaping audit priorities, compliance and enforcement activity, counter‑fraud investigations and policy insight.
You will also build a small multidisciplinary team and foster a culture of professional standards, collaboration and continuous improvement. Externally, you will act as senior intelligence lead, strengthening intelligence‑sharing with regulators, government departments and law‑enforcement partners, ensuring all activity meets legal and ethical standards.
This role will suit an experienced intelligence or insight leader with the credibility to influence at senior levels, and the drive to design and embed a new function that protects public funds and delivers impact for consumers.
