UKR Group is looking for an experienced Dumper Driver / Groundworker to start ASAP in a job in Newmarket, Suffolk.
Responsibilities:
- Operating forward-tipping dumpers safely and efficiently in accordance with site safety protocols.
- Assisting with a variety of groundwork activities, including trenching, concreting, kerb laying, pipe laying, and drainage works.
- Following site drawings, levels, and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Maintaining and checking machinery daily, reporting any defects or safety concerns.
- Ensuring all tasks are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Supporting other team members on site and working collaboratively with trades and site supervisors.
- Performing manual labour when required to support overall site progress.
Skills:
- Proficient in the safe operation of forward-tipping dumpers and other relevant machinery.
- Strong understanding of groundwork procedures and methods.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and site plans.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Awareness of site health and safety requirements.
- Physical fitness and stamina, capable of working in varying site conditions.
Requirements:

- Proven experience as a groundworker and plant operator on construction sites.
