UKR Group is looking for an experienced Bricklayers to start ASAP in a job in Monument, East London.
Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and building plans.
- Laying bricks, blocks, or stone in accordance with specified patterns and alignments.
- Measuring out spaces and marking guidelines using string lines, levels, and plumb lines.
- Mixing mortar by hand or with mechanical mixers.
- Ensuring bricks are laid evenly and to required specifications, including strength and aesthetics.
- Cutting bricks to size using hammers, chisels, or power tools.
- Repairing or replacing damaged brickwork or pointing.
- Collaborating with other tradespeople such as labourers, plasterers, and site supervisors.
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times on site.
