PropTech is changing how buildings are funded, built, managed and lived in. At the UK PropTech Association (UKPA), we bring together the founders building that future and the real estate leaders deciding what to adopt. Our events are where those conversations happen.
UKPA is part of the Real Estate:UK Group, the collective voice of UK real estate, with more than 500 member organisations. That gives our events a reach few in tech can match: start-ups, investors, major property businesses and government, all in one room.
What you’ll do
- Lead our Tech & Innovation programme. That means invitation-only roundtables, debates and panels that connect PropTechs with real estate decision-makers.
- Run our flagship events, the Innovation Showcase and the UK PropTech Awards.
- Shape what’s on the agenda: spot emerging trends, find the stories worth telling and secure senior speakers to tell them.
- Take UKPA to major industry events such as UKREiiF, and design a presence that gets people talking.
- Manage event budgets and sponsorship, and find new ways to deliver value for members and partners.
- Work with the wider RE:UK Group events team to bring technology and innovation into events across the Group.
What you’ll bring
- A track record of delivering professional events, ideally for a membership organisation, industry body or B2B business.
- A real interest in technology and innovation, and the ability to get to grips with a new sector quickly.
- The confidence to secure senior speakers and sponsors.
- Strong organisation and calm under pressure when several events are running at once.
- Bonus points for knowledge of the UK PropTech scene, or experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Monday.com.
This is 12 months to make your mark on one of the fastest-moving parts of the property industry. You’ll get the creative freedom to shape content inside a newly formed Group that’s ambitious about what its events can do. You’ll also build a network across PropTech, real estate and government that will stay with you long after the contract ends.
