Experienced Full Time CNC Miller Setter/Operator/Programmer required for a busy engineering business. This is a varied and interesting role within a company supplying a wide variety of end customers. You will be integral to the manufacturing process, responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC mills.
Full time position for the right candidate will be offered on our Early, Day or Evening shift:
- Early Shift (39 hours with 10% premium) Monday - Thursday Friday
- Day Shift (39 hours) Monday - Thursday Friday
- Evening Shift (39 hours with 20% premium) Monday - Thursday
Essential skills:
- Experience with Fanuc controls.
- Set & operate CNC milling machines.
- Able to read programs and make adjustments where required during the setting process.
- Able to read technical drawings and use a wide range of measuring equipment to ensure parts are made correct to the drawing.
- Good housekeeping.
- Good working attitude and enthusiastic.
Advantageous skills but not essential:
- Able to program CNC mills/lathes.
- Set & operate CNC lathes.
- Experience with 'Doosan Mills' Machinery.
- Experience with CAD/CAM. (OneCNC-XR9 Mill 3D Expert)
- Experience of using a CMM. (Aberlink Axiom Too)
- Experience operating/setting Citizen sliding heads.
- Knowledge of 5S.
- Knowledge of SPC and use of control plans.
- Working to AS9100 quality standards.
Competitive salary paid dependent on experience. Regular overtime is available, paid at time and a third, and weekends paid at time and a half. Yearly performance bonus and annual reviews.
