Imagine being a key player in managing construction and engineering projects worth £10 million or more, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. As the Project Manager in the LPN Investment Delivery team, you will oversee a portfolio of projects from inception to completion, providing construction assurance and managing contractor performance. You will liaise with various stakeholders, including Design, Infrastructure Planning, Procurement, Supply Chain, Network Operations, and Asset Management.
You will have the opportunity to produce delivery plans, manage commercial arrangements with contractors, and provide regular reports on achievements, costs, and forecasts. Your role will also involve managing project delivery risks and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering with a Project Management bias, or equivalent experience managing large-scale projects. Familiarity with construction management best practices, a safety qualification such as IOSH Managing Safely, and experience with project management tools like Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project will be highly advantageous.
