UK Power Networks is looking for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our Capital Programme team, supporting long term infrastructure projects across London. If you thrive in a commercial role, enjoy solving complex challenges, and want to develop within a high performing team, this is an exciting opportunity.
What you’ll do:
- Lead or support commercial management across a portfolio of construction projects
- Manage contracts, pricing, change control, service delivery and dispute resolution
- Review tenders, support procurement activity and analyse contractor submissions
- Produce high quality commercial reports and maintain risk & cost schedules
- Use systems such as Unifier and cost reporting dashboards
- Provide guidance to junior team members and collaborate with PMs, planners and legal partners
What you’ll bring:
- Strong quantity surveying experience with complex, high value contracts
- Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with NEC contracts (NEC3 preferred)
- Confident communicator able to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical skills and ability to challenge decisions professionally
- SAP and MS Office (intermediate/advanced) skills
- IOSH beneficial (training available)
