UK Power Networks is seeking a Business Support Assistant (QDPA) to join our Connections Projects team, based at our Bury St Edmunds office. If you're looking to make a real impact in a role that blends administration, customer management, and technical support, this is the opportunity for you.

As a permanent member of our team, you will report to the Quotation & Delivery Planning Team Leader, playing a central role in guiding customers through their journey from initial enquiry to final energisation of new or altered electricity connections. Your role will see you managing customer applications, supporting Designers with information requests, and handling technical queries. You will ensure regulatory compliance throughout the Connections Quotes process, maintain comprehensive project records via SAP and other IT systems, and produce insightful performance reports for both team and company use.
Your expertise will extend to sourcing utility plans, issuing quotations, managing the delivery and disconnection processes, and validating contractor claims. In addition, you'll be responsible for creating and maintaining meter point administration numbers, coordinating supplier requests, managing energisation status changes, and providing collaborative support for specialist metering activities—always ensuring the highest level of service for a diverse range of customers, from first‑time applicants to major developers.
